We must adapt our writing to our situation and purpose. What factors must we consider and how does our writing change–and in what ways is it similar– when we write personally, academically, and professionally? Also, Chapter 4 mentions some misconceptions and facts about writing. Discuss something on one of those lists–or something else that you can think of–that you perhaps held as a misconception about writing at one point.
All applicants go through a series of tests that check their level of English and knowledge of formatting styles. The applicant is also required to present a sample of writing to the Evaluation Department. If you wish to find out more about the procedure, check out the whole process.
