ANSWER THE QUESTIONS

3 part so answer

Part A Then Reply to Part B and C in your Option’s DONT FORGET THE CHRISTIANS VIEWS AND REFERENCE

PART A

Think about two environments you have experienced.
1.The first environment is one that did not confront the brutal facts, where the people (and the truth) were not heard.
2.Thesecond environment is one that did confront the brutal facts, wherepeople had a tremendous opportunity to be heard.

Whataccounts for the difference between the two environments? If you do not havethis life experience you are not off the hookyou will need to interview aleader who has these experiences and report on that. What does the contrastteach us about how to construct an environment where the truth is heard? Usingstrong Biblical support, explain how you relate this to your ChristianWorldview? Does your Christian Worldview help you develop this environment? Howdoes this relate to the ethical components of the Meese and Ortmeier text?

PART B
The two situations in which I have experienced these two environments exist among two different companies for which I have been employed. The first company, Company X, represents the first environment in which the brutal facts were not confronted, and the people or truth was not heard. The second company, Company A, represents the second environment in which the brutal facts were confronted, and the people or truth was heard.

Company X is a company that makes you feel like your opinion is welcomed, valued, and considered and that much needed changes will transpire soon however, after voicing your opinion repeatedly and seeing no changes, you realize this is simply not true.

Company A, on the other hand, does the same, makes you feel like your opinion is welcomed, valued, and considered but differs in the way that they are fluid and do make necessary changes for the better of the company, rather than refusing to budge based on pride.

The two companies may seem similar on the outside but on the inside, are two different environments altogether. When you can see that your opinion is valued and changes are being made to make for a better, more efficient workflow, you tend to develop positive feelings for a company that leads in that manner. An unwavering loyalty is built. There is a quote by Richard Branson that states, Clients do not come first. Employees come first. If you take care of your employees, they will take care of the clients and I believe that is true. If you take care of your employees, you will have employees who desire to work hard for you. A company that can do that will have grateful, trustworthy employees.

These behaviors correlate with the study of ethics, as well as values found within the Bible. Ethics plays a large part in all aspects of life which means that it also plays a part in business and organizational attitudes (Derr, 2012, p. 66). As Christians, we are always struggling to make the right choice in all aspects of our life, from personal to organizational. Making the ethical choice for most people means bowing to the overwhelming influence of peer pressure, avoiding punishment, or getting a reward (Plinio, 2009, p. 278). Especially avoiding peer pressure is pertinent in ethical decision-making. Trust and integrity are at the very core of any good and effective relationship (Meese & Ortmeier, 2001, p. 89). Without trust, any relationship will fail, personal or in business. The Bible states, Do to others as you would have them do to you (Luke 6:31, New International Version). Additionally, Kind words are good medicine, but deceitful words can really hurt (Proverbs 15:4, Common English Version).

PART C

When discussing two environments one where the brutal facts are hidden, and the truth is never heard and the second environment is one that confronts the brutal facts and gives people an opportunity to be heard and speak their truth. In the first environment where the truth is not heard can be an environment where it would be hard to make good decisions without knowing the truth about a certain situation. If people cling to a false reality it will mostly give them false hope and lead them down a path that will lead to their downfall. Especially if you put the first environment into a work setting such as an office or any workplace can lead to an unhealthy workplace where people put into leadership will not know what is going on in their company. These types of workplace environments can be caused by leaders who lead by fear and intimidation without allowing the people under them to express their opinions about the company and things they see wrong. All workplaces should be able to have an open dialogue throughout the hierarchy of the workplace this will lead to a healthy workplace culture and will help a business strive.

In the second environment where the truth is one that confronts the brutal facts instead of avoiding them is one where people will feel more open with expressing themselves and their opinions on certain topics. Even though the truth can be hard to hear sometimes it is important to always keep an open mind when it comes to other people opinions and truly evaluate them and give them strong consideration. Especially when it comes to being a leader it is always important to listen to the people under this will allow you as a leader to open a dialogue with your employees that is safe and makes them feel comfortable. Being able to hear the hard truth especially as a leader in an organization can help save you from making mistakes as a leader and also give you tips and information that could lead to growth for you company. As stated by Richard Bowman Adaptation capacity is a self-governing leadership disposition that characteristically leads to success (pg.2). Being able to hear the hard truth and change can lead to the company being more successful in the future.

From a Christian Worldview having an environment that confronts the brutal facts instead of avoiding them is very necessary. The truth is always leads to understanding even if it is hard to heard at first.  If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth( 1 John 1:6). Not confront the truth only hurts the people that need to hear it the most and leads to either more lies or somebody being hindered in the process.
