Essay Topic: Underwood International College (UIC) is an all-English liberal arts college with a Major Korean University. What makes you a suitable fit for UIC and what have you done to prepare for a rigorous liberal arts education? How do you plan to achieve your future goals at UIC and beyond?

Information: I have written my application essay and now they want an additional essay with the above topic. I am not sure how to put it into words. Mentally I am not ready for college, but I know this is what I want to do. I know that if given a chance I would succeed in these studies. My father was a US Soldier and all my life we have been around the world, and this is a study I really want to pursue. Nothing is going to prepare me for college except for college and I know mentally I am not ready, but how can one be ready for something they have not experienced themselves?  I’m scared, but I know that this is something I need to do, not just for the degree, but to ensure that my future has a brighter path to follow then those before me who have chosen to take an easier route. I just don’t know how to put this into words that will not push them away from me.
