Your finished essay should be a holistic analysis of the story you chose, rather than a summary of the storys events. In other words, do not waste space rewriting or explaining the highlights of the story. Instead, identify, analyze and connect each story component to your thesis statement with clear topic sentences, supporting details, and textual evidence.
