Lying is a big element of this story. Write an essay in which you choose 3 characters or three lies and explain why each of them is important. The lies don’t necessarily have to be “bad” to be significant. Your essay should briefly describe the lie told by the character and focus mostly on how that lie affected the characters and what we, as readers, can learn from their experience.
