Explain the context for the speech–When was it delivered? What was the occasion? What was happening? Who is the target audience?
Explain the purpose of the speech–Is it persuasive? Informative?
Identify key strategies used in the speech and explain why they are or are not effective.
Discuss delivery, body language, and/or vocal intonation.
Provide clear, specific examples of key strategies and delivery techniques from the speech to illustrate your analysis/interpretation.
Have clear, focused and unified paragraphs that are internally cohesive and have clear topic sentences.
