For your final paper, you will write a four to five-page letter to the new or existing President, a representative or someone in power addressing a social inequality. There is a lot in the news lately that are bringing out protest and concern including income inequality, systemic racism, student loans and the burden on the younger generation, health care access, and many others (please, no local issues such as traffic or the cost of SEPTA). Write a strong AND scholarly letter to the person. Your letter should cite at least FOUR peer-reviewed articles.
All applicants go through a series of tests that check their level of English and knowledge of formatting styles. The applicant is also required to present a sample of writing to the Evaluation Department. If you wish to find out more about the procedure, check out the whole process.
