Dr. Winter sees the First World War as a pivotal event for the 20th century, responsible for at least three legacies that have impacted the century (and the 21st century as well).
In your essay explain the three legacies that emerged from the First World War, their impact in the 20th century, and how these legacies continue to impact us today.
