Please select ONE of the following cultural films and watch it from beginning to end.  You are to write a reflexive reflection of the film.  Your reflection should should first, discuss the main themes or topics  and culture of the film.  Second, you write your personal reaction to the film.  This is the reflexive portion, where you discuss an “ahaa”  moment, perhaps something that surprised you, or something that you can relate to on some level.  Finally, discuss the the film’s overall connection to present issues, in other words, why is this film so important?

5-25 total points available.  For the full 25 points, you must write three thorough paragraphs addressing the three criteria mentioned above.  The amount of thought and effort that you put into the assignment will determine your scores.
