The essential questions are meant for you to demonstrate your comprehension of the class material. They are also meant to help you continue the development of your thoughts by engaging thoughtfully and critically with the material.

These assignments require a substantive response (as specified below)  by critically engaging the prompt/s provided. Therefore, your response must engage key points from the class material, reflect your understanding of the material, and include your critical analysis.

Demonstrate your direct engagement with the material.
Give evidence that you have read the material (e.g. make reference to specific sections, specifying page numbers).
Make specific, detailed points rather than vague points.
Check for spelling, grammar and re-read your post before submitting.
Ideal posts are between 150–250 words.
