- Identify the known pollutant.
- Identify the ecosystem type that this pollutant tends to affect most around your community.
- Where and/or how is the pollutant generated?
- What impact does it have on the organisms in that environment?
- Once you identify the root cause and the impacts, identify what nutrient cycle you think is being most disrupted by this pollutant.
