Please read before replying to responses. 100-150 words.
Response Requirements
Reminder, each response must be a paragraph which is seven sentences. In addition, I am reminding all students not to lose points moving forward, that the responses for participation need to follow the ABC method. Acknowledge what your classmate has said, build on the content (do not just state, I agree with how you said this, or I like how you said that), and close with a question (an open-ended question). You may send me a message in the private forum with any questions. You must have supporting in-text citations and references to support your discussions posts. Blessings with wisdom and academic growth! Cheers, Professor Ligon Blessings and prayers…

The project launch I choose was Google Chrome’s Thailand Launch. Google did some research and discovered a unique way to introduce the browser and get users. They wanted to add this market and decided on a unique approach. Google devised a learning story with teaching capabilities that kept the user captivated while teaching them how to use Google Chrome browser. They told a story of Ramakien, taken from the Hindu story of Ramayana which tells how good triumphs over evil. They told a visual story that also taught users how to use the browser, contained in-story games which brought the user into the story through interactive actions. This technique increased the Chrome users in Thailand by 53%, the shares by 3.5%, and even got the approval of the Prime Minister.

The project that I want to talk about is Gmail the gamechanger of all Web-based emails and has set a precedent for how we communicate in our daily and work lives. Gmail was first developed as an internal email service for Google employees also other web-based email services at the time were slow, and had a very little search and integration with search engines and this was the peak of the internet boom.
The Gmail product was and has been successful because it was Google's first foray into a product that was not a search product. Google really wanted to become a part of our everyday life now we can see this with mobile phones, the Gsuite products. Gmail also offered more storage than other web-based emails providers of the time 1GB. Gmail was also successful because it offered more robust spam blocking as it was built more like an app rather than an HTML web page.
