After you have read both documents, work on your Primary Source Document Analysis by answering each of the questions provided in the five steps. Be sure to type the step number and step description and then type each question and type your answer to each question. Do not skip any questions. If a question cannot be answered with the documents provided or based on related readings and lectures from our course, state this as your answer. Do not write an essay. It needs to be in question and answer format. Remember that you are answering the majority of these questions in relation to the primary source which is Chapter 9 excerpt from Monica Sone’s memoir Nisei Daughter. The background information link and the course readings and lectures will provide some needed contextual information that may be useful for some of the questions.
