How does the text weave together Christian and Pagan traditions?  Discuss at least 3 examples.
And in a separate paragraph explain what is the attitude that Medieval culture displays toward human compassion?

4- The Canterbury Tales (Resource: http://sites.fas.harvard.edu/~chaucer/index.html)

Chaucer sketches rich portraits of his characters with just a few select details.  Name at least 4 specific examples of this and the impression those examples make to suggest the broader the culture of the time.
