For this paper, you should choose one chapter from the pdf of extra chapters listed in the content section of D2L for this class. Make sure you are using these chapters, and not the chapters from your regular textbook. Read this chapter, then write a short paper (minimum 500 words) that discusses the chapter you read. You can write about what you learned, why you picked it, why it’s interesting to you, etc. You do not have to write in any specific style guidelines (e.g., APA, MLA), but you can write in whatever style guidelines you’ve learned in other classes up to this point. Make sure you also list what chapter you’ve read at the start of the paper. Finally, make sure you submit a file type that is readable by D2L, such as a .docx file or a .pdf.
All applicants go through a series of tests that check their level of English and knowledge of formatting styles. The applicant is also required to present a sample of writing to the Evaluation Department. If you wish to find out more about the procedure, check out the whole process.
