Describe at least three different sections of the plot/book:

1.Panopticism – How is the games arena a Panopticon? How does this encourage Katniss to act in particular ways? Can she confirm when/who is watching? Does it matter?

2.Durkheim’s Suicide – How is Katniss suicidal based on Durkheim’s operationalization of the term? Which type of suicide is she at risk of committing? How is that related to social integration?

3.Looking Glass Self – Think about how Katniss frequently goes through this three-step process. How must she CONSTANTLY think about what others think of her? How does that change/alter her behavior?

-Quotations taken directly from the texts are required.  Quotes must be relevant to your argument. You must use at least one quote per theoretical explanation and one quote per example from The Hunger Games.
-a minimum of six quotes
-cite these quotes correctly (use quotation marks and reference the author and a page number)
-describe a particular part of the plot in detail while showing the connection of the example to the theory
– describe at least three different sections of the plot/book
-this is a proper academic essay, there should be an introduction and a conclusion, and the answers should be some sort of narrative. the arguments should be well-supported.
-no reference page is required, Cite your sources properly in-text using the last name(s) of the author(s) and publication date.
