You are asked by the Financial Services Commission of TCI to write an essay piece on the topic “Offshore Banking and Money Laundering” for their annual Banking and Finance Magazine. You are asked to give an overview of offshore banking in TCI, to highlight three roles/functions of offshore banking, to give at least two advantages and two disadvantages of offshoring banking in the country and to highlight the possible threats of money laundering to and tax haven as TCI. (40 marks)

This essay is worth 10% of your overall assessment.
