Each student will write a 4-page minimum paper (not including the title page, bibliography, and pictures) detailing a description and history of one of Californias many parks. Information should be obtained from scholarly library resources and the Internet (please do not cite Wikipedia). Information in the paper should include a summary of the park areas history, together with relevant census statistics, notable current characteristics/events, and important personalities/historical figures.
