Anatomy and Physiology II Final Exam (Written portion worth 20 %)
You are required to write a 1-2 page paper on a disorder of any of the systems that we have or may have covered this semester. Those include: endocrine, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive.  This paper will count for 20% of your Final Exam Grade.  Do not forget to include this portion of the final.  I will require a Word document with the following format.
You must also have in-text citations. Use your textbook, lab book, scientific journals, Bergeys Manual, WHO (World Health Organization), Science (the news section), Nature (the news section), and the CDC website. See Lecture 5 powerpoint for additional resources.
General Formatting:
–    12-point, double space
–    Do not use we, I, our group, the group,
–    Past tense
–    Logical order
–    No quoting. 
–    In-text citations:
o    Mendez et al. (2012) stated that
o    In an experiment, Mott and Kidd (2010) demonstrated that .
o    Membranes are not soluble in ionic solutions (Pathirana et al., 2021).
At least four references are required. See below for formatting.
Citations
Citations document the source of statistics, quotations, facts, and ideas that you use in your paper but have gotten from other sources. In ANY academic writing, you must acknowledge and cite your sources. Just to make things more difficult, there are different citation styles for different academic disciplines.

The full description of your source should come at the end of the paper in a list of references or a bibliography. A full description of a source will include:
    the authors name(s),
    the title of the work (or web page) cited,
    the title of the journal, book, or name of the website (not the web address!) that the work is part of (if the work is an article, chapter of a book, or page on a website),
(NOTE: The three items above should ALWAYS come first)
    the volume/issue number of the journal (if appropriate)
    the location and name of the publisher (for books)
    the year the work was published (in the case of web pages, look for day/month/year creation date)
    the URL (the address of the specific web page you are citing)
    the page number (for specific quotes)
    the date you accessed the web page

For some sources you wont be able to find all this information, but you should be suspicious of sources that are difficult to cite!
