Many people do not change their views or beliefs on things, even when faced with strong evidence and reasons that their view or belief is wrong. A person believes X, a strong argument is given showing that X is false, and yet the person still goes on believing X. This is what is often described as being unresponsive to reasons. Why do you think this happens so often? What can we do to change this, if anything?
