Your textbook uses 6 criteria by which to classify constitutions. These can be found in chapter one under the heading: classification of constitutions. In addition to this, you are to consider the role of a bill of rights as an additional means to classify a constitution.

Write a five-page essay classifying the UK constitution, the constitution of the USA and the Saudi constitution.

This essay will broadly be divided into three parts. The first part is on the Constitution of the USA and the second part on the UK Constitution and the third part Constitution of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Basic law of Governance).

The part for the USA and the part for the UK must be two pages each and the section on KSA is to be one page.

You are required to substantiate your answers with reference to extracts from the US, UK, and Saudi Constitutional sources.
