Skip the focus group place your product or service in a real-world environment.
Test its appeal online to reach a larger market.
Launch a mock version to confirm if fills a need.
Again, this sounds like a somewhat radical idea for the time this video was released. Think about this approach in a digital world — discuss the pros and cons of doing as Tom suggests. And, if you were an entrepreneur, is this an approach you would personally try?
