Depending on the ad or ads you choose, a successful rhetorical analysis will focus on one aspect of the rhetorical situation: Rhetor- based approach, Audience-based, Text-based, or Compare and Contrast. The last thing to consider for this assignment is whether or not all of this effort is successful or not. Some ads entirely miss the point, are tone deaf, or just poorly constructed. An ad does not have to be successful to be the basis of a successful rhetorical analysis.
All applicants go through a series of tests that check their level of English and knowledge of formatting styles. The applicant is also required to present a sample of writing to the Evaluation Department. If you wish to find out more about the procedure, check out the whole process.
