The Final Paper aims to evaluate your understanding of the entirety of the course. Over the course of the term, weve explored how comedy sometimes acts as a form of social critique, directing our attention to the taken-for-granted aspects of power that sociologists study.
Using real-life examples backed up with references to both course, and non-course, readings, please answer the following questions:
Why is it important to study power and power relationships?
How can the sociological imagination be utilized for this purpose?
All applicants go through a series of tests that check their level of English and knowledge of formatting styles. The applicant is also required to present a sample of writing to the Evaluation Department. If you wish to find out more about the procedure, check out the whole process.
