A rubric will be provided on BeachBoard. The county profile paper is a needs assessment and analysis of a selected California county. Eachstudent will be assigned a specific county the second week of class. You need to collect and synthesize all importantinformation related to the assigned county. Use the recommended data sources addressed in the group data presentations and add information from literature including scholarly journals, and the policy websites listed in the syllabus on page three. More information will be posted to BeachBoard and covered in class. Web sites for your research are on pages 15-18. In the paper, youwill: discuss your county general information addressing all (11) required areas and develop a health-relatedprofile. After you have presented the current data for your county you must: Identify one or two of the most crucial health problems in the county (focusingon cost, access and quality) discuss the consequences of the problem(s) discuss what has currently been done in the county to address theproblem(s) recommend actions to address theproblem(s). How would you present your solution(s) to your county (boards )with a focus on cost, access, and how would it be funded. Be realistic and try to be creative where possible. Most counties are not able to simply ask for more money from the state or federal government, and citizens of the county may not support a tax increase. Whenever applicable, compare your county information with statewide averages for context.Do not include tables or graphs in your paper. Use APA format consistently and correctly. Minimum/ maximum length: 1500/2500 wordsor 8-12 pages. Minimum of 10 references from current (2017 or later) sources in addition tothe websites listedbelow.
