In my class, we are reading a book called House of Wisdom and a textbook called “The World” Volume 1. It is an essay that must be a minimum of 750 words. I can not use sources outside the classroom. It is MLA format and I have to use citations to document the answer. The essay should contain a title sentence separate from starting the essay if that makes sense. So here is the prompt: In House of Wisdom, the author argues that there was a process of erasing Muslim contributions to European learning and knowledge. What are the consequences of erasing these and other contributions to our understanding of world history? What lessons or examples of the course support your answer?  For examples of the course, we are only focusing on chapters 1-9 of “The World” textbook.
