THE DISSERTATION RESEARCH PROPOSAL SHOULD HAVE:

a brief summary of the toipic title, it should be concise and descriptive, indicate the independent and dependent variables.

2) – INTRODUCTION. ( 2 PAGES)

a) The introduction should highlight the background of the study specifically what have been done and what is yet to be done. It must clearly state the objective and the motivation of the study, expected benefits and the gap to fill.

b) – It should include the research question, the rationale for the study, the hypothesis. It is very important to state the research questions and propose hypothesis.

3) – LITERATURE REVIEW. ( 4 PAGES)

Explain how the existing literature define all concepts that are germane to the topic.

indicates the ability to integrate and synthesize the existing literature. Makea significant and substancial contribution to the literature review.

4) – METHODOLOGY. ( 2 PAGES)

a) – The methodology should address the context and research design in terms of population sample and analytical methods intend to use.

NB: DO PLEASE USE QUALITATIVE RESEARCH. justify the qualitative method.

b) – RESULT.

Idea about what kind of data will be collected and statistical procedures will be used in order to answer the research question or test the hypothesis.

c) – DISCUSSION.

Mention the limitations and weaknesses of the proposed research, which may be justified by time and financial constraints as well as by the early developmental stage of the research area.

5) –  CONCLUSION. ( 2 PARAGRAPHS)
