You are to analyze the leadership of Jack Welch at General Electric.  Was he an effective leader? Yes/No/Sometimes.  What was it about him that enabled him to be effective or hindered his effectiveness.  Use concepts from the class to point to the elements that enabled or hindered his effectiveness. You may use the text and any of the readings. (Be specific in how you use the concepts and the terminology that you use.)  Use examples from the case to support your assertions concerning Welch. You may NOT use any other readings or online information.  Outside research on the topic is NOT allowed.

Specifics:

You must utilize at least four concepts in your analysis.  (I can think of at least 8 major and 30 minor concepts that are possible to use in this analysis!) Do not use material from chapters 2, 3, 8, 14, & 15, or from pages 370-384 in chapter 12.
