Review the MN BON Nurse Practice Act and examine the Scope of Practice for the LPN and RN and the article on Scope of Practice Decision Making Framework. Respond to the following two parts:
a. What is the LPN role in the development/revision of policies and procedures?
b. Scenario: You encounter a situation in which you are asked to perform a skill or assume a responsibility that you are uncertain about undertaking. Using the framework, describe the specific example and how you will use this tool to assist you in determining if the task is within your scope of practice.
