Your final project is a research proposal. The goal of the proposal is to prepare you for an Honors Thesis or graduate studies. As discussed in Chapter 5 of Doing Developmental Research (Guilford Press), you will need to review about 30-50 papers in order to write a proposal. You will see that there is a Final Project Workshop midway through the semester. This is your chance to have your work reviewed by your teacher and the class.
All applicants go through a series of tests that check their level of English and knowledge of formatting styles. The applicant is also required to present a sample of writing to the Evaluation Department. If you wish to find out more about the procedure, check out the whole process.
