Task description
Write a statistical data analysis report on a specific research question. The research question and corresponding data are assigned to you.
Youmustincludeinyourreportanexploratorydataanalysisincluding appropriate summary statistics, as well as appropriate univariate and bivariate graphical depictions for all relevant variables in the given data set.
You must state an appropriate hypothesis in verbal as well as mathe- matical form, given the research question for your report.
Youmustapplytwodifferenttestapproachestofalsifyyourhypothesis in your report.
You must explain each test approach. You must cite your sources properly (including the relevant page numbers when your source is a book).
You must verify in an appropriate way each necessary assumption for each test approach you apply.
You must discuss your statistical test results in terms of statistical significance and practical significance of the observed effect size.
Youmustdiscusswhatconclusionscanbedrawnfromyourtestresults, and what alternative interpretations or what alternative reasons for your test results are possible.
You must state which test result you rather trust and why, if the test results of your two different approaches differ.

You must follow either The Chicago Manual of Style or The Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association for citations, style, and format in your report.
You should keep the word count of your report below 6000 words.
While you should not include any software commands in your ac- tual report, you must include in an appendix reproducible software commands that allow the reader to generate all reported statistics and included figures. The appendix is not included in the word count for your report.
You must submit your report as a PDF.
