Country I pick is Mexico

In your groups decide on one country in Central America (including Mexico), the Caribbean, or East Asia and the Pacific Islands. These countries also send the most immigrants and migrants to the US.

In The Poorer Nations, on pages 7-8, Prashad lists six consequences of the collapse of the Third World project (see slide 13). Each group member will find evidence of one of the six conditions in the country that you selected. You can do this by using google to find news stories from that country. Put all of your responses together.

Part 2 of 2:

Find data on immigration and migration from  mexico  to the US (ie how many people immigrate or migrate to the US per year or over a certain time period?)
