The literature review should include:
Intro (1-2 pages) describe the question you pose of the literature, motivate it,
define critical terms, describe the scope of your paper, and state your thesis.
Body (5-8 pages) present your argument with evidence for/against each assertion, structure your argument clearly (subheadings)
Conclusion (1-2 pages) summarize central argument and evidence, discuss interesting implications, applications, or questions that arise
References section APA format, cite papers read in class and papers read outside of class. Must contain at least 10 citations beyond class readings.
All applicants go through a series of tests that check their level of English and knowledge of formatting styles. The applicant is also required to present a sample of writing to the Evaluation Department. If you wish to find out more about the procedure, check out the whole process.
