ESSAY PROPOSAL AND ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY
HISTORY OF MODERN MEDICINE
Description of the essay, historical questions that you plan to answer, and then a list of sources (Atleast 1 primary source and 5-7 secondary sources) with a brief description of each source and this description must include the author’s argument and what sources did the author use. Overall, it should be a significant paragraph long. You need to use scholarly, peer-reviewed books and research articles written by historians of science (or sociologists, literary scholars, other humanities scholars), not popular accounts or articles written by MDs or scientists in scientific or medical journals (articles written by MDs and published in peer-reviewed history journals are good). Choose the sources wisely in order to construct a historical argument.
All applicants go through a series of tests that check their level of English and knowledge of formatting styles. The applicant is also required to present a sample of writing to the Evaluation Department. If you wish to find out more about the procedure, check out the whole process.
