Each Student will be responsible for submitting a 10 minute transcribed session with a volunteer client/student. The purpose of transcribing is to create a written copy of the counseling session. Transcribing can also be described as the making of an exact verbatim copy of the recorded session. Your transcription should be typed double spaced. For confidentiality purposes do NOT include the name of the students/clients on your transcript.
All applicants go through a series of tests that check their level of English and knowledge of formatting styles. The applicant is also required to present a sample of writing to the Evaluation Department. If you wish to find out more about the procedure, check out the whole process.
