2. READ THE LITERATURE
Conduct a search of recent (last ten years) scholarship on your topic, using
one of the many databases available to you on the BCC library website e.g., Academic Search Complete; JSTOR; Social Sciences Full-Text; Worldcat Advanced
Search. In addition to scholarly sources, use articles from respectable newspapers like The New York Times or The Guardian.
3. CREATE AN ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY due MAY 21
An Annotated Bibliography consists of a list of citations of journal articles
or other sources that are supported by brief (100-200 words) summaries of the
key conclusions of each of those citations. Your Annotated Bibliography must list
at least 4 relevant sources. Send you annotated bibliography to me in an
email.

4. WRITE YOUR FIRST DRAFTdue MAY 21
You first draft should be as complete as possible, including a Works
Cited page. Send this draft to me in an email our upload it to Blackboard.
5. SUBMIT YOUR REVISED RESEARCH PAPERdue MAY 21
Send your revised research paper to me in an email or upload it to Blackboard.
