What’s Due:
Speech 1 – Informative Speech is due Sunday, February 9 by 11:59PM.
Many of you have already viewed the sample outlines and example speech videos that I’ve posted in this week’s folder. Please use it as a template including the sources page. You need to have 3 sources cited in your speech as seen in the posted template, and in the instructions page 17 of your WorkBookScans (seen on the “Start Here” Page on Blackboard).
This speech is worth 75 pts.
1. YouTube Link to your video – be sure it has working audio and visual. You can record it from your mobile phones or computers.
2. Typed, double space outline with 3 sources on your reference page – example in Blackboard
3. Audience of 4 people, (3 people is -5, 2 people is -10, 1 person is -15); show us the audience before you begin.
4. Visual Aid –  you can use an object, poster or PPT/prezi, etc. connected to your tv or laptop 
5. Min 4 minutes; 6 minutes max- anything below or under will have deductions.
6. Notecards – used to help guide your speech
7. Remember I will using the informative speech rubric to grade your speeches.
8. no dress code.  but business professional dress is nice 🙂
